CATHEDRAL
The Romanesque nave is from the XI the
Century, the Gothic transept from the XII and XIII th centuries. The beautiful
windows are actually from that time.
ON THE RIVER ARIEGE
These churches have as much art in them as many museums.
Notice the water damage- yet these masterpieces remain right
where they are.
MIREPOIX

The windows below just stagger the mind. Sue said the are close
to what a friend has painted in Philadelphia- yet she never saw pictures
of these- a connection to the past. Notice the colors- the
same as french chinaware from this area that many of us have at home.
